Who We Are

We are Awaaz Afghanistan, also known as the Interagency Communications and Accountability (ICAC) platform, a UN-operated national helpline managed by UNOPS. Established in 2018, Awaaz is Afghanistan’s first nationwide, toll-free service connecting communities with trusted information, humanitarian assistance, and accountable support systems. Operating across all 34 provinces, Awaaz enables people to access reliable information, raise feedback or complaints, and receive referrals to relevant humanitarian and development partners.
