Referrals
Awaaz Afghanistan operates a structured, safe, and confidential referral system to connect callers with the services, assistance and support they need. When individuals contact Awaaz to share feedback, concerns, or requests for support, trained operators assess the situation carefully. If the issue cannot be resolved directly through information or guidance, the case is referred to the most relevant partner organization or service provider through an official referral pathway.
Referrals cover a broad range of humanitarian and development sectors, including Health, Nutrition, Education, WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene), Protection, Food Security & Agriculture, and Shelter & Non-Food Items (NFI). This ensures that communities can access specialized support suited to their specific needs, whether they are in urban centers, rural communities, or hard-to-reach areas.
All referrals are handled with strict confidentiality and respect for the caller’s dignity. Personal details are recorded securely, and information is only shared with partners when necessary and with the caller’s consent. Awaaz ensures that referrals are accurate, complete, and directed to organizations capable of providing appropriate support.
Awaaz plays a critical bridging role between communities and service providers by tracking complaints, monitoring progress, and ensuring responses are addressed. Callers are informed that their case remains open until resolved and may be contacted for additional information if needed. Through this mechanism, Awaaz improves access to assistance, strengthens coordination among partners, enhances program quality, and reinforces accountability by helping ensure community concerns lead to meaningful action.
