Accountability in Action: Awaaz & Partners Strengthen Safe Feedback Channels in Kunar
Awaaz Afghanistan successfully completed a two-week mission to Kunar (2–13 Nov), strengthening Accountability to Affected People (AAP) and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH) at the heart of the earthquake response.
Our primary goal was to ensure affected people—especially women and girls—have access to reliable information and safe channels to raise concerns. Through vital women-to-women engagements, we directly reached 280 women and girls in affected communities.
This success relied on strong partnerships. We engaged 212 frontline humanitarian workers from 31 partner organisations, coordinating closely with ICCG, OCT-Kunar, PSEA, and GiHA-East. This joint effort built capacity in AAP/PSEAH and strengthened the overall response system.

From Awareness to Action: Awaaz Afghanistan Supports Women in Earthquake-Affected Kunar
Through specialized women-to-women awareness programs in earthquake-affected areas of Kunar Province, Awaaz Afghanistan has empowered women and girls to access reliable information and humanitarian support.
Women affected by the earthquake were reached both collectively and individually, and are now aware of Awaaz, Accountability to Affected People (AAP), and Protection from Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Harassment (PSEAH). They know how to seek information, access humanitarian support, provide feedback, report concerns, and safely submit complaints through a confidential and secure channel.
